Our support groups are open to those diagnosed with any kind of cancer to share and process together in a safe space. These monthly groups provides a chance to connect with others going through similar experiences. Check out the groups below to find one that fits your location and schedule.

Cancer Caregiver Support Group
Caregiving is rewarding and a beautiful act of love, but it can feel lonely and isolating without proper support.
- Virtual Comfort for Caregivers
This group meets monthly via Microsoft Teams. Be sure to register to join the group online. View the upcoming dates
Ostomy Support Group
This group is open to people living with ostomies and their caregivers. Participants will learn how to adapt to colostomy/ostomy bags after surgery, meet others receiving ostomy care and gain access to educational resources from Baptist Union County.
- New Albany Ostomy Support Group
This group meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the hospital, located at 200 Highway 30 West in New Albany. To register or for more information, call Deanna Thornton at 662-538-2438.
Tobacco Cessation Support Group
This group realizes quitting smoking is difficult and can bring a flood of negative emotions, like fear, anxiety, guilt, shame, uncertainty and doubt. Tobacco Cessation Support Group provides a space to share and process these emotions while adding accountability and community to help throughout your tobacco cessation journey.
